Cfashionista restyle

If you did not already know, I have been chosen to be a Style Guru Intern this summer with College Fashionista . I am beyond thrilled to have this amazing and reputable opportunity, especially having just finished my first year in college where I have been able to do what I love! Yes, this is my third year of college, I am currently 21 years old and a prime example of how it is never too late to change your major and follow your heart. Like most high school seniors, choosing a college and a career for the rest of my life had to have benefits and be parent-approved (in my head). I soon realized how wrong those beliefs were when I was sitting in Professor Wahba's anatomy class at Monroe Community College and honestly never having felt more out of place in my life. The only good thing that did come out of this venture were some amazing friends and opportunities, like studying abroad at FUA and leading me to GCC where I could study in my field of interest.

This post will feature an outfit that is a variation of what this polyvore set embodies. I obviously wanted something that would show people what my personal style is and be unique. Doing so without sacrificing peoples interest to read my article, Rad or follow! My hopes with this set are to: inspire people to style similar looks with their own garments, show variety of how it can be dressed up or dressed down and show howVintage pieces can still look high fashion (like those shown below) while maintaining a budget (one of a part-time pizza shop employee & full-time college student/blogger)!

STYLE TAKE-AWAY:

Where to wear?! Work, meetings, lunch in'/brunchin', dinner, shopping with the girls or even date-night! Depending on the mood you can switch up your hair, makeup and accessories to make your look more or less casual/formal!

Flats and sandals don't have to be boring - dress them up with your looks and you can remain cool and comfortable all summer. For me, a huge problem is keeping my feet in good shape when the weather is warm with lots of walking at festivals, on campus, at events, and even around town or the city!

You can always find a similar style no matter what your budget may be, no one has to know who designed the garment or where you purchased it.

Lace does not have to look matronly or elderly - personally, I think these styles  and my Cfashionista look keep it super chic, feminine and updated with the leather jacket & other accessories.

Summer Must Haves - even if it means a splurge…sunnies & handbag/s. Whether you are someone who hates sunglasses because you "can't see anything" or find them distracting, or never carry around a purse or you have a plethora of both listen up! Tjmaxx, Marshalls, Outlets, Public Markets, Online Shopping and the millions of other places with these accessories and all featuring affordable options for those willing to look! When you go to theses places don't just see & buy what is presented to you or out in the open. Wait it out, let your options marinade in your head and I promise you will find the perfect piece at a good price. People hate shopping with me and probably think I am wasting time, yet two of those people, my sisters, always seem to appreciate the garments I purchased after the fact.
Wear what you want, shop how you want and have a relaxing and stylish summer with these tips…stay tuned for more!
