Men: College Classes OOTD

This Fashionisto, however confident he may appear in these shots, doesn't think of himself as an on trend individual. After I stopped and looked back on these, it's clear he has no idea his brain has a European alter-ego. I say that because it seems that the lucky women living abroad are more frequently able to find fashion conscious men walking the streets! This look is casual, comfy and definitely a great option for a day of classes on campus. Men have a way of physically and mentally dressing with ease; us ladies need to simplify things sometimes! Stay tuned for my post next week to see how I turn down the notch without losing style! xoxo Article via Twitter / Instagram or Collegefashionista.com --> Genesee Community College!

5 feet

Who would've thought that this video (gem) was 10 years old! I was basically inspired forever by this (hilarious, yet insane because this is a High School talent show). So 11 year old Lauren wanted to be just as hot & confident (laughing continues as I and probably all of you, picture this dancing sometimes joined by friends/ sisters in the living room of our house --> of course because my parents insisted on seeing what we were doing on MySpace/roller tycoon. So enjoy & happy Monday :) xoxo #staytuned

WannaBeAlaia

So as you all probably know/have seen - I am a die hard fan of Km K's wardrobe (-Kanye etc.) Therefore, anytime I see her wearing something I like, I try my best to find something in my closet or price range and re-create that outfit with my own taste! Controversy: I know, I know…theres someone who is reading this right now and is just not understanding what I see in the Kardashians or Kim in general. a) She is a female entrepreneur - something we need more of. b) She has a killer wardrobe - if you do not agree it must not suit your style or your allowing your judgements to ruin your appreciation of her usually impeccable outfits. c) Women need to appreciate women more often, regardless of her sex tape or whatever else it might be that you don't approve of; everyone has a chapter of their life that they do not want read out loud. That being said she has continiously inspired me to take fashion risks and really wear what I want. So without further adieu allow me to share with you my rendition of her capri legging look:

Cynthia Rowley nude tank, Badgley Mischka Zippered bag, a vintage Dani Max blazer from my mothers closet, a statement gold + jeweled necklace, J.Crew gold + jeweled bangle, Steve Madden Espadrilles, Black & Gold Fendi Sunnies, Capri Leggings and NO MAKEUP (<-- try it out!)

Quite obviously - my leggings did not cost upwards of $600.00 but I like to think that I did a nice job of re-creating the outfit on the right! DRESS up my look: Add a pair of nude or black heels/sandals to take this look from day to night!

She even does a seriously casual look with the first two options: pair your rendition with long sleeve crop for a look that will definitely make people look twice at what you're wearing! Kim K airport style: 1. Gorgeous Outerwear 2. Cropped Mauve Leggings 3. Oversized sunnies 4. Perfect Bag - offset tone 4. Super cute & trendy sandals 5. All in all this will not kill your feet while traveling and you won't kill your budget if you find more affordable versions of these like I did!

This post can also dual as the perfect opportunity for me to share an amazing article with you all. This is not only extremely funny for any woman who is interested in the slightest in how they look. You can laugh along with her spanx struggles if you have ever had that same problem. For me, some of my skinny jeans give me a run for my money, especially after a nice weekend of junk food! This article though, however funny it may be, can also be super inspiring for you which is what I'm hoping! She really explains how after having dressed like Kim K she felt like a new woman and how different her outfit of the day made her feel.

Style Take Away: Wear What You Want, When You Want & How You Want It.

The unfinished hem

I am so happy with the way things came out for this post and I could not wait to share it with all of you! I really wanted to choose an outfit that everyone can try or has wanted to anyways and allow them to feel after reading it that they can actually pull it off!
  1. Denim is so easy to pair and wear!
  2. It can be comfortable in the summer and warmer months.
  3. You can look so chic when you pair trendy styles or dress up a classic look!
This post captures how to style your new or previously stuffed to the back of your closet denim garments! This denim/chambray blouse was so light and airy, this picture was taken on memorial day and let me tell you it was quite humid for my hair to be down for pictures even! Therefore, it comes from a highly recommended standpoint as these would not have made it to the website had the outfit not been comfortable enough to photograph! It is so intimidating to mix prints and an easy way to figure out how okay you are with taking a bigger fashion risk is to do something small. For example, I chose to mix the floral print on my wedges and the stripes on my shirt - nothing too crazy or flashy but still worthy of a second glance. Another awesome aspect (I hope you agree) was the frayed/unfinished hem denim that I was wearing/writing about. They are not only of course a perfect fit but they make me feel good which can be rare when trying on jeans! They are also just long enough where I can feel comfortable about the "cut-off" point on my calves. Now let me explain this crazy antic of mine…basically any sandal/bootie that comes up above my ankle and makes my calf appear larger bothers me so I do a pristine job of pairing. Here, the hem was perfectly placed and I felt comfortable with a heel and a sandal - also easy on the feet as wedges are the cheating heel. If this wasn't enough to enthrall you, forgive me and give my article a chance ;) The unfinished hem
