Rochester Fashion Week

Low down:
• Aspiring designers & models as well as successful local retailers
• Wine & Food Selection
• Art work displays, paintings & sculptures
• Table seating, chair sections, front row VIP & standing
• Disappointments: need to see more design personalities from the individuals presenting their looks as well as better lighting all over, it wasn't even doing my photos justice nevertheless the looks on the catwalk :/
• Loves: I love incorporating Art and Fashion, the relationship is so relevant and important for creativity as well as seeing more Fashion events in smaller cities expanding the World of Fashion.

|@yslaurenn_ (ME)& @katetrowse student bloggers at GCC Fashion Business Program [@gccstyle] | Ran into our classmate Jessie, design student volunteering for the event & getting involved!
•Left photo ootn details: HM jacket, vintage blouse, Arden B customized jeans, Tory Burch clutch, Diane Von Furstenburg Calf Hair Wedges
Although these photos are borderline pitiful, I LOVED these designs.
1) I felt like they were so very Alexander McQueen and that this designer really enjoyed taking the risk & channeled their creativity in an amazing way
2) The little details of these looks caught my eye, among many other plain or ordinary styles they caught my attention when I thought that I would not like anything we saw.

- Get out there, fashion is happening all around us everyday - There is so much to see and learn, coinciding with networking & building your personal career!
 • Stay tuned for more of life through the eyes of a Fashion Business (Merchandising) student xoxo
