The unfinished hem

This is the link to my 2nd weekly article with CollegeFashionista --> yslaurenn
I am so happy with the way things came out for this post and I could not wait to share it with all of you! I really wanted to choose an outfit that everyone can try or has wanted to anyways and allow them to feel after reading it that they can actually pull it off!
  1. Denim is so easy to pair and wear!
  2. It can be comfortable in the summer and warmer months.
  3. You can look so chic when you pair trendy styles or dress up a classic look!
This post captures how to style your new or previously stuffed to the back of your closet denim garments! This denim/chambray blouse was so light and airy, this picture was taken on memorial day and let me tell you it was quite humid for my hair to be down for pictures even! Therefore, it comes from a highly recommended standpoint as these would not have made it to the website had the outfit not been comfortable enough to photograph! It is so intimidating to mix prints and an easy way to figure out how okay you are with taking a bigger fashion risk is to do something small. For example, I chose to mix the floral print on my wedges and the stripes on my shirt - nothing too crazy or flashy but still worthy of a second glance. Another awesome aspect (I hope you agree) was the frayed/unfinished hem denim that I was wearing/writing about. They are not only of course a perfect fit but they make me feel good which can be rare when trying on jeans! They are also just long enough where I can feel comfortable about the "cut-off" point on my calves. Now let me explain this crazy antic of mine…basically any sandal/bootie that comes up above my ankle and makes my calf appear larger bothers me so I do a pristine job of pairing. Here, the hem was perfectly placed and I felt comfortable with a heel and a sandal - also easy on the feet as wedges are the cheating heel. If this wasn't enough to enthrall you, forgive me and give my article a chance ;) The unfinished hem
